Contest for Amazingly Ambitious People...

....Oh, and I just found out about it, so you have, um, until Friday, July 9, 11:59 pm (I think EST if you want to get technical, or just want to be on the safe side).

Shannon Delany, author of 13 to Life is hosting the Change is Good—Ask a Werewolf Contest.

Seriously, this contest is made of HUGE.  GIGANTIC.  GINORMOUS proportions.  Are you daunted?  You will be daunted by this one, and you can't (or at least I don't) say that about many contests.  What I'm basically trying to tell you, is that Shannon Delany was clearly a sadistic teacher in a past life...actually, I believe she was a teacher not to long ago in this life.  And in order to enter and win this contest, you gotta get creative and earn it, baby.  Because Shannon is pulling out all of the extra credit you ever dreamed of, or had nightmares about.

Um, so why should you enter????  Because the prize is pretty fracking fantastic.

I keep having to reread that, because 11 BOOKS is like the motherload of all prizes.  And that's why we all want to win.

I wasn't going to list the prizes, because, with 11 BOOKS, does it even matter???  But just in case it does...

The winner will recieve *SIGNED* copies of 13 to Life by Shannon Delany, Mistwood by Leah Cypress, Moonlight, Dark of the Moon, and Shadow of the Moon by Rachel Hawthorne.

ARCs of Linger by Maggie Stiefvater and Nightshade by Andrea Cremer.

And additionally, the winner can look forward to Blood and Chocolate by Anette Curtis Klause, and The Summoning, The Awakening, and The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong.

Are you sold, yet????  Because here's the daunting part...how creative are you???  And by that I mean, how creative can you be in less than a week.  I'm sure that Steven Spielberg and James Cameron would totally nail this, but on the off chance that they aren't entering...Shannon is pretty much giving everyone free reign to explore their left-brain and encouraging readers to take pictures, make videos, write songs, create playlists, re-design the cover, do character sketches, create a comic strip, write fan-fic, a play, or an essay, or a book report, along with the regular stuff, following, blogging, tweeting....click here for more details

And another thing...this contest is going to be difficult if you haven't read the book...not impossible...Even for creative people there's only so much you can pull out of thin air.

For those of you who are recently out of school for the summer, or those of you who've been out of school for a while, you may be weighing the cost/benefit of entering...And I think it's just going to come down to those 11 books.  Some people want 'em...Some people don't.  After much deliberation, I've decided I'm in; who's with me????

Best of luck to everyone—I would definitely be interested in hearing what any of you decide to do!
—I'll be keeping you posted!
